Diploma in Environmental and Land Based Studies
.

Consortia and education professionals

The vision for the Diploma is to prepare students for employment and for higher or further education by developing a thorough understanding of how the sector works, including its environmental and economic importance. It has been structured to allow young people in England to study it alongside GCSEs and A Levels.

Designed in collaboration with employers, the Diploma combines knowledge, understanding and skills that are informed by and recognisable to industry and the world of work.

Delivered through a range of applied learning techniques, it gives students a solid and broad general education, coupled with a grasp of which occupation, future training or learning they may wish to take up.  The Diploma also helps develop maturity in young people to make them more employable.
